Professor of Periodontology

Study of dentistry at the Semmelweis Univesity Budapest, Hungry (DMD) Postgraduate training in Periodontology in Munster, Germany (Dr. med. dent.) and Royal Dental College Aarthus, Denmark (MS), Specialist of the German Society of Periodontology (DGP), Habilitation (PhD) at the University of Hamburg Germany in 2001. From 2002 to 2004 Head of the Section of Periodontology, University of Mainz, Germany. From 2004-2008, Head of Department of Periodontology at the Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Main research interests: Periodontal wound healing and regeneration, clinical trails on reconstructive periodontal therapy, oral biofilm. More than 150 publications in peer reviewed journals, 12 chapters in books, more than 180 lectures on national and international meetings.s
